BoscoBear wall stickers can be used on painted and wallpapered surfaces - however surfaces must be flat as they will not adhere to textured wallpaper (even slightly textured surfaces are not recommended, surface must be entirely smooth) or porous surfaces. 

As with all wall stickers testing is important, especially if you do not know the type of paint used.  Paints containing silicon/teflon (or any wash and wear type paints with any non stick function) may cause wall sticker to peel.

Bosco Bear wall stickers all come with a test sticker (letter "Q").  To test for wall suitability, trial this test sticker for two days prior to applying your wall stickers and if the Q starts to lift around the edges or peel, then send the pack back for a refund!  Please note only test and use on flat, smooth walls, these stickers are not intended for walls that are not completely smooth.  Even a minor textured wall paper is likely to cause the stickers to peel.  Our advise - just don't apply to textured surfaces ever, risk of failure is very high will invalidate the manufacturers guarantee.

All Bosco Bear stickers are removable and some may be reusable so long a care is taken when removed and the stickers are kept free of dust and grime.  All applique/transfer designs and giant stickers are not reusable.  More intricate designs may not be able to be removed in one piece and therefore will not be able to be reused.

Care needs to be taken not to over handle the stickers which may reduce the adhesive qualities.

ARE THE WALL STICKERS REMOVABLE?

Yes! Our wall stickers can be removed quite easily. Simply peel back a corner and pull down carefully and slowly. If you are having trouble, simply use a hairdryer on the lowest setting to loosen the adhesive and the wall decal will peel away with ease.

CAN I REUSE MY WALL STICKERS?

There are some designs that can be removed and reused, however we do not recommend this. Items, especially with the appliqué (transfer material) are quite intricate and complicated in design, therefore attempting to reuse them could prove to be too difficult. Some of the less complicated designs (peel and stick) can be reused, but you will need to ensure all surfaces are clean as this can affect the life the product.

WHAT SURFACES CAN I USE MY WALL STICKERS ON?

We recommend applying your wall decals to painted walls (although freshly painted walls will require a 3 week waiting period), wallpaper, counter tops, windows, mirrors and tiles. They will not adhere to cloth, stucco, brick, concrete or similar uneven or textured surfaces. interiorinstyle holds no responsibility for the misuse of its products or any damage they may cause.

I HAVE JUST PAINTED MY WALLS, CAN I APPLY MY WALL DECALS STRAIGHT AWAY?

You will need to wait at least 3 weeks before you apply any wall stickers to a freshly painted surface. The fresh paint fumes will affect the adhesive on the wall stickers and will not stick. We have provided you with a test piece to apply to the wall first. This is to allow you to test you wall and see if it is ready for the rest of the kit to be applied.

Please note there are some paints (Wash n Wear and Telfon based paints) that can reject the adhesive on the back of the sticker. Please also use the test piece if you are unsure of your paint type.

WHAT MATERIAL ARE THE WALL STICKERS MADE OUT FROM?

All wall decals and labels are made from high grade vinyl, with an adhesive that allows for you to remove with ease.

HOW LONG WITH THEY STAY ON MY WALLS?

Ensuring you follow instructions carefully and the walls are cleaned well, your kits can last up to a few years. This can change for people in varying climate as humidity and extreme cold weather can reduce the lifespan of the kits.

WILL THE WALL DECALS DAMAGE MY WALLS?

Occasionally there may be some residue left behind. Simply use a household surface spray and cloth to remove
